Our Office

Our concern for the safety of our patients was the most important feature in the design of our newly built dental office, which is equipped with the latest dental equipment & software available. We are a fully digital, chartless office where Dr. Fatemi can access the patient’s records remotely & review treatments, answering emergency calls while looking at the patient’s radiograph. These features greatly enhance our ability to better help our patients maintain their dental health.

 Our Technology

Fatemi Family Dentistry –  Our locations in Lexington Park and Gaithersburg utilize state-of-the-art dental technology that makes these practices truly unique. Digital radiography provides us with an accurate view with almost 90% less radiation exposure to our patients, & we can often e-mail the patient’s radiographs in case of referrals or out-of-town travel. Also, digital photography enables us to take dental pictures that are extremely accurate (up to 21 Megapixels). These photographs aid Dr. Fatemi in viewing the dentition & oral environment in a more detailed manner, giving him useful records of before & after treatment views. In addition, our utilization of one of the latest inventions in the dental field, DIAGNOdent®, allows the dentist to find cavities by using a special laser beam. This laser will pinpoint any hidden cavities, telling Dr. Fatemi the severity of the cavity before he starts the repair process. We are among the few practices that have Cone beam radiography where we can take 3-D images. This is essential for our patients who are interested in Implants and wisdom teeth extractions.  We also use 3-D radiography in Root Canal Therapy to view and detect infection and canals.  Overall, we have state of the art technology, but at the end of the day, it is our one on one relationship that matters the most. It is the relationship between our staff and our patients that sets us apart.

One of the most exciting addition to our practice which is also one of the most patient favorate is our Electronic anesthesia machine. Patient no longer have to fear having a dental injection. We provide this service in a pain free method that the patient does not even know.  Our patient return to our office just for this reason where they say they do not have with electronic anesthesia.
